SPS Community Rally to Express Dissatisfaction & Oppose Superintendent Contract Extension

The School Board is considering extending Superintendent Goodloe-Johnson’s current contract.

Please come and express your opposition to this extension!

Wednesday at 5:30PM  June 16, 2010

at the Seattle Schools Central Administration Building,
2445 3rd Ave. South and Lander St. (south of Safeco Field)

The School Board meeting starts at 6:00 PM*

As of June 4, 2010, teachers at FOUR Schools have voted NO CONFIDENCE:

Ballard High School, Sanislo Elementary, Schmitz Park and Franklin High School.

Organized by the Seattle Shadow School Board, a  coalition of parents from all of the SPS communities.

*School Board general legislative session starts at 6:00 PM and is open to the public. The session are broadcast live on channel 27 and are reviewable on demand. Beginnning at 6 pm, you are invited to display Non-confidence signs in the Board Room during the open session School Board meeting.  Intent is that signs will be visible to Directors and t.v. audience
